I can't believe im leaving for major outreach next saturday. Things are going ok here in Townsville. Our trip to Airlie Beach was great. Made some great relationships with people and got to hear about this they have been through and share things about myself. Lectures are getting sort of boring. I'm just so ready to head down the coast and talk about the medical ship. Thank you to those who sent christmas cards, I really enjoy reading them.

So camping went really well. It was nice getting away from all the noise of Townsville. Two weeks was way to long to not talk to Beth. Things going to get pretty crazy in the coming weeks. Next week we are going around the town doing things for people. We might go to a retirement home and sing christmas carols. Thats mid morning. In the afternoon we are going to the beach for stable on the strand(strand is what they call the beach) for a huge nativity scene. It's a huge deal in the community and a bunch of churches get together and it goes all week. We will probably be there till 11 every night. The week after that we are going to beach after that about 3 hours away. we will be staying at a church with other schools. Then a week after we get back from that it's final outreach time. It's coming into summer here and it is getting rather warm lol. Its raining a lot as well so the humidity is pretty high. Thank God for air con :)

So i really want to take this time to thank everyone again for all your support. I really feel like all of you are on my journey with me. I am going to be going on a road trip south along the east coast for my outreach. We will be stopping at other YWAM bases, schools, and churches teaching them about the medical ship we have. I am really passionate about the medical ship because I know the impact it will have on so many peoples lives that would never be able to see a doctor otherwise.

Things are still going well... i'm hoping we find out where my outreach will be. This past sunday we went to a billabong santuary. Kangarroos roamed freely around the santuary and there were wombats and koalas. I got some great videos that I can't wait to share when I get home :)

So things have been going great here. I was a little stressed lately about where im supposed to go on outreach. I had choices like there provinces in PNG or two in Australia. I wrote down that I thought the ship outreach was the best choice for me. This outreach will be going around and speaking to schools and cities about the ship and everything that is going to be happening because of it.  I was doing laundry and homework back at the house and Isaiah 30:21 came to my mind. I have never read it before and to be honest i was just going to ride it off. For some reason I looked it up and what it said really made me feel like whatever I choose will be the right choice. It gave me a great sense of peace about it.

Youth Street went very well saturday. Went to the skate park and attempted to skate board lol. Didn't do to bad :) Wiped out a few times and realized my body is used to taking that kind of punishment anymore so i decieded to call it quits. Saturday night we just hung out in the house and made food and watched King Arther....which I highly recommend! Sunday I walked downtown to a market where they had all kinds of good stuff ... great gift ideas :) I then proceded to walk to the beach. It was such a beautiful day...I took some good videos but I cant upload them to this blog or facebook because the internet here is to slow. I'll try sometime there isn't a lot of people in here. Im not looking forward to exersize tomorrow lol but it is what it is lol

So its Saturday here in Townsville! Im taking my youth street group to the skate park this afternoon. Which should be pretty interesting, I havnt been on a skateboard since maybe middle school haha. Tomorrow is the day for the beach! Some of the guys are trying to catch a ferry over to an island that has 12 or 13 nice beaches. One of our staff members was going to take us over at some point this DTS so i'm not going to spend the money on a ferry. There is something very important im going to buy when I get home ;) Things are going very well thus far. I dont know if I said this before but im not cut out for being away from home this long. I have to say I am ready to apply the this i've been learning on outreach. Although we don't know where it will be im very excited.
